The First International Jazz Day

Andy Eulau at the United Nations

Participating in the first International Jazz Day festivities at the United Nations in New York City on April 30, 2012 was a marvelous and unique experience. This photo of yours truly was taken by bandmate, saxophonist and friend Peter Brainin at sound-check the day before. We both played in Bobby Sanabria‘s Quarteto Aché for the “Latin Jazz” segment of the evening. Candido Camero and Shiela E were featured artists with the quartet. The video of the entire show is quite inspirational.
